Welcome to dave's travel journal
First and foremost, this is my journal, mainly for me. But I'll try to make it as user friendly as possible for friends who want to know what I'm up to. Feel free to just look at the pictures (or just see the gallery) and not wade through every detail. It's also a reciprocation to the so many others who have put so much useful info online and have helped and inspired me plan this trip. If this thing can inspire even just one person to put everything in a storage locker and get out of the country for a long term trip, then it's done its job. Of course it will all evolve over time, so check back every month or so. Enjoy! And of course comments good and bad and of course corrections are welcome.
